Equine test for Breed
To the best of our knowledge there has been no testing developed to determine the breed of a horse.
Also, it is not possible through our laboratory to locate via a foal's DNA sample an unknown parent or parents. This is different from DNA Parentage where a sample from a possible dam, a possible sire and the foal are all submitted and compared.
